So, how tall didja say? by Taylor-the-Weird So, how tall didja say? by Taylor-the-Weird
Well I find it funny...

This took longer than it should have, mostly because I got suckered in into doing Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplay with a group of friends for the movie, (which, by the way, was absolutely terrible. Unless you go with the type of people who crack jokes throughout, the movie isn't worth your time.) I'll get some pics of my Azula costume up here sometime...

As I was looking through various piles of Doctor Who fanart, it occurred to me that there's barely any of Eleven in his blue shirt. Damnit, guys - that shirt needs some love too!

Don't you just hate it when you can't think up a decent background?

If anyone cares, line art is here - [link]

Napolean was actually an average person's height and was not short it was probably a myth spread by his enemies

Bwahaha, that is just fantastic, and seems like exactly the kind of thing the 11th Doctor would do. It's always awesome to get a fluffy "Doctor-And-Companion-Meet-Famous-Person-From-History" episodes, and I would LOVE to see the new series do one with Napoleon.

Well, there actually is one with him in one of the First Doctor episodes, but, if memory serves, I don't think the Doctor actually met him; only his companions.

But I agree. The Doctor meeting Napoleon would be awesome. Hell - the Doctor meeting any historical figure is awesome. XD

By the way, I agree about TLA. Although, I did go with people who found it hilarious, and us and the entire theater were correcting things and laughing about it. I actually had a good time. -shrug-

Oh, I'm not saying that we didn't have a good time - it's hard not to when you have 20 completely goofy people in cosplay after pulling a 2-day Project Runway-esque costume-making spree. It's just a shame that the movie was so terrible.

Ah, I see what you mean. That actually sounds like a lot of fun. Sadly, I only have one friend who likes Avatar and she's not nearly as into it as me. We still had a good time, although I tried to buy a ticket by telling the people in the theater that I wanted to see Avatar. They had no idea what I was talking about. I felt a little dumb. Habit.

The movie was really bad. I blame M. Night. But I heard that it is doing well in the box office. I actually hope that they make another one, but pull Shamalyan off the project.

Great! I love their faces!

Same here - I love the show, so no matter how bad the movie was, I had to see it. The movie probably would have been incredibly painful to watch had I not sat next to a friend with a great sense of humor. We cracked jokes the entire time, probably to the point where we would have pissed everyone around us off had the movie not been so horrible.

Me and my sisters are like that. If I sit next to one of them during the movie, I'm sure we'll be giggling the entire time. ;P I'm a little disappointed actually, because I was hoping against hope that it would actually be okay, but I knew it wouldn't be. :( Oh well.

I know - the only reason people think of him as small is because France and Great Britain used different measurement systems, and also British propaganda at the time made him look tiny. I just thought that the concept was too amusing to pass up, though.

And thank you!

You said yourself we were the most awesome people there! It was tons of fun, even though the movie was pretty bad...

Anyway, the folds in the clothing are really well-done, and I like the texture of the coat!

Thank you! I was coloring his jacket, but I just wasn't really feeling that it was tweed, so I was all "BAM! TEXTURE, BITCH", and my computer was all "GYAAAH! DUN' HURT MEH!" and then I rubbed some tweed onto the computer screen all sadistic-like until it begged for mercy and made it a tweed jacket.

It happened just like that.

And I stand by the statement - we were easily the most badass and awesome people in the theatre and at Burger King. We need to do something like that again.

God - Katara had one expression: confusion, and all Aang did was stare and flare his nostrils... Then again, what did you expect from a martial arts movie directed by M. Night Shaymalan. I mean, Aang, Katara, and Sokka were white - seriously?! Gaaaah - just one giant bucket 'o fail, the entire movie.

And thanks!
